unit 3 reading due dates

Reading due dates are below and are the same for both classes.  Please keep in mind that, on *any* of the dates below, I may give you a reading quiz on the assigned pages.  If you do have a quiz, you are always welcome to use any of your own, original notes to assist you.

58-63 for Tuesday 9/23
66-73 for Wednesday 9/24
74-83 for Monday 9/29

B block:  extra credit
Due in hard copy by the start of your class meeting time on Monday 10/6, and worth 5 points of extra credit if done well.  Please type and double space.

Respond in a paragraph and underline the terms as you apply them:

  • Behavioral
  • Neuropsychological (you know more about this now, so your example needs to be good!)

test info

Fact or falsehood for unit 1:  #s 1, 3, 5, 6 and 7 are true - the others are falsehoods
Unit 2:  #s 4, 5, 8 and 9 are true - the rest are false

end of unit practice quiz answers (from your book):  you can find them in this document.

Reminder that the format of the test tomorrow (Friday 9/19) will be multiple choice (75 points) with a free response prompt (25 points).  For the free response, you'll be given a situation and 5 terms, and will need to explain how the 5 terms could apply in the given situation.

Definitely focus on unit 2 terms - there will be a minimal amount on the history of the discipline, but a good amount on the schools/approaches to psychology (psychoanalytic, cognitive, behavioral, etc.).
