Review and assignments this week

The AP exam is only one week away, so we'll be spending this week reviewing in class.  Please be aware of/remember the following:

-Remember that your analysis of a fictional work is due Tuesday 4/29

-Meet me in lab 322 on Tuesday 4/29 - we'll be looking at the activities on the PsychSim website.  You can find the directions here.

-I'm going to give you at least 2 free response quizzes this week that will draw on terms from all units.  I might give them to you in the same class period, or on separate days.  They'll count for 20-30 points each, and I'll drop the lowest of all your quiz grades (including reading quiz grades) at the end of the quarter.

Here are the answers for the practice test from the Princeton Review test prep book (nicely explained and all!).

Due after break

To help you review for the AP exam, please complete this assignment.

Also, please remember that I will be giving you a few quizzes next week, all of which will take the form of free response questions that include terms from a variety of units (like the ones we looked at in class today).  It'd be helpful to do some (light) reviewing over break in anticipation of that.

violating a social norm

The assignment is here.  It's due Monday 4/14 for G block, and Tuesday 4/15 for B block.

Monday, April 7, 2014

also due Wednesday 4/9

Due Wednesday for both classes (B block - note the change from tomorrow):

Please bring a typed response (that does not have your name on it!) to class that answers the following question:  if you could do anything you wanted and not be identified or personally held responsible, what would you do?  Answers can range from a sentence or two to a paragraph.  This is worth 5 points for term 4.  I'll still be able to credit you for doing this even without having your name on the response you hand in, but (for obvious reasons) anonymity is essential here.
